American Farming - Red Tractor

What is American farming like? John knows. John is a farmer. This is John’s farm. He drives a tractor. His tractor is red. The tractor helps John do work. John needs to plow the land to plant seeds. The tractor plows the land for him.

Farmer John plants corn in the spring. It grows all summer long. John picks the corn when it’s ready. He puts all of the corn into big containers.

Animals live on John’s farm. The animals love eating corn. It is cheap for John. He doesn’t pay for the corn. He grows it. So, Farmer John feeds it to the animals. He feeds pigs, chickens, and cows with the corn. He pours the corn into their stalls. They eat the corn.
