Present Progressive / Present Continuous

The present progressive is used to express things that are happening right now.

It is formed by using:

to be + verb-ing (gerund).

 

Examples:

a.  You are reading about the present progressive.

b.  You are sitting in front of a computer.

c.  I am typing the words for this website.
